👩‍💻 Your role

• Build the backbone of Capture’s SupplyOS - from wholesale market trading and industry data flows to customer-facing supplier systems
• Operate at the frontier of the UK energy market, turning emerging market roles and vague definitions into working, production-grade systems
• Work hand-in-hand with engineers, operators and customers to automate complex operational processes
• Design and build high-throughput, event-driven architectures that sit at the heart of how Capture interacts with the electricity market

💡 What you bring

• 3+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally with strong Python fundamentals
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - you move quickly, learn in production, and turn uncertainty into progress
• Track record of digesting complex technical specifications and turning them into simple, automated systems that anyone can understand and build upon
• Founder-like mindset with a strong desire to take ownership and make an impact
• Previous experience in energy and an understanding of the industry is a big plus
